Outcome of a read quota enforcement decision: whether the request was allowed, rejected, or allowed without quota check (unintentionally).

      Request passed quota check and was served normally.

    • REJECTED

      public static final QuotaRequestOutcome REJECTED
      Request exceeded the store-version quota and was rejected.

    • ALLOWED_UNINTENTIONALLY

      public static final QuotaRequestOutcome ALLOWED_UNINTENTIONALLY
      Request was allowed without a quota check — either the quota enforcer had not yet initialized, or no rate limiter was allocated for the requested resource.

      Dimension name: Returns the VeniceMetricsDimensions for the enum. All the instances of a Enum class should have the same dimension name. Ideally this could have been a static variable/method in the Enum class, but to enforce having this method via this interface, it is made as a non-static method.
